Mission Statement
Eastern Mediterranean University recognizes the fact that research is a fundamental element of a modern university. Here at EMU we believe that research is not only a tool for improving the well-being of the society but it also inspires and informs teaching and services within the university. EMU has the mission to encourage and promote state-of-the-art research in the form of publications and other scholarly achievements and aims to increase research activity in terms of quantity, quality and scope.
The Research Advisory Board and the Research Support Office aims to promote research by granting publication awards for scholarly articles publishes in indexed journals as well as support for attending scientific conferences, and provides support for research activities with the aim of providing the infrastructure required for research.
