Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Architecture Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Uğur Ulaş Dağlı attended General Assembly Meeting of Architecture Faculty Deans Council (MİDEKON) formed by the deans of the faculties in Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), where the disciplines of the basic disciplines of architecture (architecture, design, planning, etc.) are involved.
During the MİDEKON General Assembly Meeting, which took place at the Istanbul Technical University (ITU), new Executive Board members to serve from December 2021 to December 2023 were selected. Prof. Dr. Dağlı served as a substitute member in the Executive Board during the meeting.
Views were exchanged on the issues determined for the new semester during the first MİDEKON meeting held after the election. At the said meeting, it was planned to organize an online meeting with the participation of all deans in order to determine and discuss the problems and issues specific to the faculties of Architecture and the departments in the faculties and add them to the agenda, and to start the work by establishing commissions for this purpose.
