Eastern Mediterranean University, Institutional Communications and Social Media Unit Coordinator Raziye Nevzat represented EMU in “ENGAGE 2015”, a conference organised by SocialBakers in the Czech Republic.
Supported by the social media and brand managers of Youtube, Google, Facebook, Disney, Lego, Adidas and many other famous brands, the three-day conference which attracted over 1000 participants from 64 countries hosted conference sessions and workshops on promotional strategies, representation of education and brands in the digital world and new trends.
Nevzat stated that EMU is one of the institutions which has an effective use of digital platforms and added that the conference has posed a large contribution on the institution’s digital promotional strategies. Nevzat put forth that having the quality of being the first social media unit within the TRNC, EMU Social Media Unit has been providing training on “Social Media” and “Brand Management” for a considerable number of institutions, organisations, non-governmental organisations, political parties and private sector through EMU Continuing Education Center.
