The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is participating in the Rotterdam Social Media Week that will take place from the 15-17th of November 2016. Digital platform managers of institutions such as NATO, BM and Renault will deliver speeches in the conference and EMU Institutional Communication and Social Media Unit Coordinator Raziye Nevzat will represent EMU as a guest speaker.
In the said conference Nevzat will give a presentation about “The Effects of Social Media on Mediterranean and North African Societies”. EMU have been organizing social media and brand management seminars since 2010 in order to educate institutions, companies, non-governmental organizations, political parties and municipalities on how to reach internet users more easily and how to convey a better message. EMU Institutional Communication and Social Media Unit is the first specialized unit in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and it will continue its educational seminars in the TRNC after the completion of the conference mentioned above.
