Operating under Eastern Mediterranean University Social and Cultural Activities Directorate, EMU Search and Rescue Club (EMU-SRC) and Civil Defense Famagusta Directorate organised a joint visit to People’s Foundation Old People’s Home, which is located at Sınırüstü Village.
The residents of Old People’s Home were extremely happy with the vist and had a chance to spend quality time with students talking about various topics including their memories.
The founder and chair of People’s Foundation Old People’s Home Melek Doğan stated that the residents of the site value visits as such as they are remembered and cared for. EMU-SRC team and Civil Defense Famagusta District Director Eralp Kebabçı and Assistant Director Kamil Ağcabay also participated in the visit.
