The Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Social Media Unit is preparing for the “3rd Social Media and Brand Week” in collaboration with EMU Faculty of Communication. The said event will be commencing with opening speeches that will be delivered at 09:30 on Wednesday, the 3rd of April 2019 at the Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall.
Following the opening speeches Reputation365.eu (Belgium) Digital Identity Management Consultant Denys Malengreau, Nexflix series ‘Protector’ Director Umut Aral, Akustikhane founder Namık Zafer Yılmaz, Innova Digital Founder Ali Tüzünkan, Beaz Kreatif Founder Umay Yılmaz, Slogan Institutional Founder Bertan Görüş and Cypdes Factory Founder Selma Gürani will be sharing their experiences with students.

Presentations will be also be taking place on Thursday, the 4th of April 2019, the second day of the event. The presentations to be delivered by Creditwest Bank CEO Mazher Zaheer, SP Branding & Management Founder Selin Persentili, Maxfield & Parrish,INC. Founder Eren Yağmuroğlu, Political Campaign Managers Atıf Müezzinler and Ömer Yetkinel and Renault Mais Turkey CEO Dr. Berk Çağdaş will be commencing at 10:00 at the Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall.
Focusing on the aspects of social media and marketing, the event previously hosted experts from Coca-Cola, Hepsiburada, Sony and Arçelik. This year’s event will host not only social media experts but also political campaign managers, digital identity managers and experts of platforms that appeal to masses such as Netflix and Akustikhane in order to follow digital trends and local consumer habits.
The 3rd Social Media and Brand Week appeals to anyone interested in working or specializing in these fields as well as people who want to follow current sectoral developments as to identify fields that have future potential.
