Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) is preparing to hold a charity bazaar to support the TRNC Help Those with Cancer Association as part of 1 – 7 April Cancer Week. Organized by EMU Personnel Affairs Directorate, the bazaar is going to be held on Monday the 3rd of April 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in front of the CL Building on campus.
Money will be raised for cancer patients from food and beverage sales for which faculties, directorates and units will be setting up stands. Funds raised from the sales of the 37 stands will be donated to the TRNC Help Those with Cancer Association. At the event with the slogan “EMU Cares”, EMU personnel will be selling homemade food and beverages. Each product will be sold for 2 TL. In a statement released by EMU Rector’s Office, the importance of civic involvement projects was highlighted and the general public was invited to the bazaar to support cancer patients in the country.
