The “Halloween Party” organized by the International Student Activities and Student Unions Office operating under the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Social and Cultural Activities Directorate took place on Tuesday, 1 November, 2022 at 19:00 at EMU Atatürk Square. EMU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu also attended the event. EMU students dressed with colorful and creative costumes for the Halloween Party. Prof. Dr. İşçioğlu presented awards to the students who were chosen to have the most creative costumes within the scope of the costume competition held during the night.
Great Interest from the Students
Students had great time with DJ performances by DJ Omario, DJ Nikretov and DJ Savage. Students, who showed great interest in the Horror House, which was created at the Atatürk Square decorated with colorful and remarkable decorations. In the event, where more than 2,000 people participated, the students took lots of photos and videos with their friends in front of the witch and ghost photo stations, the decorative cemetery specially prepared for the event, and the scarecrow in the grass heap and shared them on social media. Students also went to the face painting booth created for them and enjoyed Halloween with different make-ups.
