Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Turkey and hosted by Cukurova University, will attend the Fair of "DABKAF'20 - Eastern Mediterranean Regional Career Fair" which will be held between April 16 and 17, 2020. EMU Vice Rector for Promotional Affairs Prof. Dr. Hıfsıye Pulhan and Derviş Ekşici, Director of Alumni Communication and Career Research Directorate will participate on behalf of EMU. The career fair, which will host nearly 15,000 participants from 22 universities, will take place at the Çukurova University Congress Center.
Prof. Dr. Pulhan underlined that our university will be represented in the best way at the said event and stated that experts in the following scientific fields will also be in attendance; Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Anesthesia, First and Emergency Aid, Nursing, Psychology, Psychological Counseling and Guidance, Engineering and IT. Prof. Dr. Pulhan reported EMU has a total of 6049 of graduates in the Cukurova region, with 1341 graduates only in the last 3 years, and expressed there are especially 459 graduates in the Hatay region alone. Prof. Pulhan went on to say that EMU graduates were currently in successful places and in successful positions, and on research conducted across 4081 companies, it was found that there were 72 graduates at C-Level, 167 at VP, 421 at Director level and 598 at Manager level.
Work and Internship Opportunities at 100’s of Companies
The fair will include more than 100 companies for students and alumni from every department. At the same time, training sessions will be organized by the participating companies within the halls in the congress center. In addition to these training sessions, graduates and graduate candidates will be able to find employment opportunities and internship opportunities for students who will continue their education. Students and graduates will be able to participate in the activities to be held free of charge within the scope of DABKAF’20.
DABKAF’20 announced the following call for participants: “Eastern Mediterranean Career Fair invites you to open a brand new page for your career, to take solid steps towards your future and attend two full days of career focused fair. Within this scope, there will be booths for hundreds of companies, for students and alumni from each department, where job and internship applications will be received, as well as different events, business and internship interviews, workshops, experience sharing and conferences by speakers who will be invited to the event, along with training sessions will be organized with panels. ”
