“I Thank NorthernLand”
Speaking at the Protocol Signing Ceremony, Prof. Dr. Hocanın said, “Today we are together with a very nice, meaningful, valuable and charitable scholarship provider. NorthernLand Director Koral Bozkurt Bey visited our university to provide scholarships to two of our students throughout their education. I thank him very much for his meaningful and auspicious behavior. These scholarships will make a very important contribution to the education of our students. After graduation, they will grow up and contribute to their society and their families as well as to our country. In this sense, I would like to thank NorthernLand, one of the most important companies in our country, for contributing to the scholarships we call "Pillar of Life" during the pandemic we are going through. I hope that this exemplary behavior will be evaluated by other institutions. Our university EMU is a state university. It provides quality education. It has played an important role in education, research and community service. It is one of the most important institutions of higher education. We hope that we will get through these difficult days in solidarity with our students during the pandemic process. Scholarships are also very meaningful at this point. I thank you once again. ”
“A Period When Everybody Should Share”
Signing the "Grand Sapphire Student Scholarship" and "NorthernLand Student Scholarship" agreement, NorthernLand Director Koral Bozkurt said, “First of all, I am proud to be an EMU graduate. We thank you for initiating such a system during this difficult period both affecting the world and our country. After all, this is a period that everyone should share. Therefore, we had the chance to contribute to the institution we graduated from, both in terms of the continuation of our institution and in terms of supporting young people in need. EMU is the most special institution for our Famagusta. I believe that such projects will also be beneficial for EMU to progress in a healthier way ”.
