Eastern Mediterranean University, Business and Economics Faculty, Political Science and International Relations Department third year student Omo Ovie Ogbodu produced a single album entitled “Agbada”.
“Agbada” aims to stress the importance of living together without discrimination of any kind as to race, language, geography and religion. Released in April 2015, the album will be available on the shelves both in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and throughout the world. Ogbodu’s single has also started to appear on social media including YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
Ogbodu, who released the album under the name of Kerry Wayne, stated that he came to EMU from Nigeria to pursue his undergraduate studies. Ogbodu added that he produced the single to increase the motivation of people who are losing hope every passing day in the changing world. Ogbodu added that the single entitled “Agbada” has also been produced to criticise “Boko Haram”.
Stating his pleasure in studying in EMU as an international and multicultural university, Ogbodu added that EMU is among the top universities within the region. Finally, Ogbodu recommended all prospective university students to choose EMU to benefit from high quality study opportunities at international standards.
