Beach Club
Organised annually by Eastern Mediterranean University, Architecture Faculty, Interior Architecture Department in collaboration with EMU Design Club, “EMU Sand Sculpture Festival and Competition” is taking place at EMU Beach Club from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on 22 May 2016. The event is open to public and anyone interested may participate.
This year’s festival is expected to be more colorful with the addition of dance shows and music performances. During the festival, the participants will have the opportunity to design and build sculptures, using new approaches and natural material, even just for one day. The festival will enable the participants to take advantage of the natural beauty of the beaches of Famagusta, nourish alternative forms of art and make similar events take root in our country. The festival which also has an international dimension will provide assistance in promoting the country and its facilities in terms of tourism.
10th Sand Sculpture Festival and Competition invites everyone who wish to participate in the activity. Deadline for registration for the competition and the festival is 21 May 2016.
