Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Entrepreneurship Club operating under EMU Social and Cultural Activities Directorate organized an Effective Speaking in front of a Group seminar with the slogan of “Are You Ready to be the Star of the Stage?”. The seminar took place on Friday, 14 April 2023 at 17:30 at CL lecture halls where speaking in front of a group was discussed.
EMU Business and Economics Faculty, Business Department academic staff member and EMU Entrepreneurship Club Advisor Jülide Erdal Üngör delivered a presentation and talked about how to prepare speech content that will impress the audience on stage. Providing information on the opening and closing of the speech and how to leave a mark on the audience, Üngör shared the effects of body language and tone of voice on the audience with examples and practices.
Following the seminar and within the framework of the program, a series of workshops are being held is groups. During the workshops, each student delivers a 5-minute presentation on a topic of their choice. With the one-to-one feedback from the training, students gain awareness of their strengths and areas of improvement.
