EMU Faculty of Tourism will represent Turkey and North Cyprus for the first time in the AEHT competitions that will take place in London.
EMU Faculty of Tourism, as a member of AEHT, is attending the contests and the annual general assembly in London that will be hosted by the Docklands Academy London(DAL) between 23-28th of October 2016.
44 countries will be represented at the 29th AEHT conference, which is one of the biggest tourism organisations in Europe. Topics such as tourism and gastronomy will be discussed at the conference. AEHT aims to encourage communication between faculties of hotel management and tourism, in order to lay a bridge between faculties and institutions and to improve communication networks. As part of the event, tourism students who rank in the competitions will be awarded various gifts.

The Dean of EMU Faculty of Tourism Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç noted that they will represent EMU and North Cyprus in the best way possible and that they have completed the necessary preparations in order to do just this. Prof. Dr. Kılıç emphasized that they will attend competitions about tourism, culinary arts and pastry, and by the means of the organisation they will have the opportunity to communicate with European faculties of tourism whilst showing the quality of education EMU offers. During the conference which includes various seminars and workshops, EMU Faculty of Tourism academic staff will also attend the general assembly meeting as a member of AEHT and inform the general assembly members about the faculty and North Cyprus.
