Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School carried out a social responsibility project titled “Give A Book, Give A Life”. As part of this project, students and academic staff gathered 1.760.60 TL by transporting books to people in need with the hope of saving lives. The money gathered was handed to the ‘Help Those With Cancer Association’ Famagusta branch manager Zarifsen Mentesoglu and member Ersin Varol by Assist. Prof. Dr. Ramadan Eyyam, Director of the Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School.
The presentation ceremony was also attended by Ipek Menevis, Assistant Director for Student and Administrative Affairs, Mehsen Ercanlar, Coordinator of Social Responsibility projects and academic staff Bahar Avsar, Musa Zorba and Vacide Kose.
