Organized by the Eastern Mediterranean University Industrial Engineering Club operating under the Social and Cultural Activities Directorate, an event titled "Post Pandemic Industry" was held online on 3-4 April 2021.
A total of 11 sessions, including a workshop, were held within the scope of the event. In the sessions, the participants had the opportunity to have an in-depth examination of the deep transformations and innovations in corporate life, and future-oriented business models., Participated by a group of experts from many international and local organisations operating in Turkey, the event also attracted the participation of more than 400 students from universities in the TRNC and Turkey.
Speaking at the event, which was launched at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, 3 April 2021, EMU Vice Rector for Social and Cultural Affairs Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu emphasized how digitalization has changed with the pandemic and how sectors have adapted to digitalization. Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz İşçioğlu also drew attention to the importance of discussing the issue on a scientific basis.
Following the opening speech, Ahmet Demirkök and Ali Garip Çömcü from Pfizer delivered a presentation on "Pfizer Promotion, Pfizer After the Pandemic" at 11:00 a.m., and Duygu Defne Terliksiz from Turkcell spoke on "Turkcell Digitalization, Turkcell After the Pandemic" at 12:00. On the same day, at 14:00, Hakan Tekcandan of the Boğaziçi Institute held an interactive workshop on "Body Language and Its Effective Use". Then at 15:00, Çağla Gürbüz and Sena Varol from THY made presentations on "THY Digitalization, the Future of Learning, THY After the Pandemic" and at 16:00 Alper Gerçek from Consultanting & Coaching talked about “Digitalization”.
During the second day of the event, on Sunday, 4 April 2021, the presentations started at 10:00 with the presentation titled "Spacex, Career Life" by Samet Saray from Spacex. Right after, İnci Abay Cansabuncu from Future Sen spoke about “Digitalization” at 11:00 and Atıl Samancıoğlu from Collective Academy presented information on “Software and Digitalization” at 12:00. Ali Fahri Özcan from Bosch made a presentation at 14:00 on “ Bosch Promotion, Career and Bosh After the Pandemic ” and at 15:00 Cengiz Günaydın from Samsung SDS talked about “ Samsung SDS Promotion and Samsung SDS after the Pandemic”. At 16:00 Seyit Vapurcu from P&G made a presentation titled “P&G Promotion, Career and P&G After the Pandemic”.
