320 staff members who took part in in-service training programs organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Personnel Affairs Directorate in collaboration with EMU Continuing Education Center during the 2015-2016 Academic Year received their certificates at a ceremony organised for this purpose at the Social and Cultural Activities Directorate Hall at 10:00 a.m. on 30 June 2016.
EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam delivered an opening address at the said event and stated that with a past of 37 years, EMU is successfully approaching towards becoming a mature university. Prof. Dr. Osam added that in-service training programs delivered to staff members contribute to the increasing momentum of the university. At the end of his speech, Prof. Dr. Osam thanked all those who contributed to the organisation and delivery of the said training programs.

During 2015-2016 Academic Year, Eastern Mediterranean University Personel Affairs Directorate delivered 13 different in-service training programs aiming to support the personal development of staff members. Certificates were presented to 320 staff members who took part in the said training programs by EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Bekir Özer, Prof. Dr. Hasan Amca, Prof. Dr. Hıfsiye Pulhan, Dean of Education Faculty Prof. Dr. Ülker Vancı Osam, EMU-CEC Chair Prof. Dr. Uğur Ulaş Dağlı, Acting Director of the Institute for Graduate Studies and Research Prof. Dr. Cem Tanova, Director of the Personnel Affairs Department Özlem Avcı, EMU-CEC Executive Board member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sıtkiye Kuter and Coordinator Nibel Tektan. The certificate ceremony finished with a cocktail.
