Eastern Mediterranean University Education Faculty, Turkish Teaching Department 2013 graduate İrem Alınaçık won a return ticket to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus after becoming one of the winners in “Good Old Days”, a photo contest organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Social Media Unit. Having taken place under the sponsorship of EMU-COOP, the contestants’ photos were evaluated over the social media and winners were awarded flight tickets to the TRNC.
During her visit to the TRNC after becoming one of the winners of the contest, İrem Alınaçık extended her gratitude to EMU and expressed her happiness in visiting both the TRNC and Eastern Mediterranean University again. Alınaçık also stated her pleasure in the education she received in EMU and added that EMU provides an array of possibilities for students both in academic and social aspects. Finally, Alınaçık stated that EMU is a university at international standards.
