Justice and Development Party (AKP) Youth Branch Deputy Chair Vahit Atalan and a group of officials paid a visit of courtesy to Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Osam provided detailed information about EMU with a special focus on international accreditations as well as its international and multicultural qualities.
Putting forth that students from many different backgrounds study and live in peace in EMU, Prof. Dr. Osam also highlighted the importance of creating a context filled with love and respect.
Atalan stated that they see the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as their home country and wish to provide services towards this purpose. Adding that they closely follow EMU’s successful achievements, Atalan expressed his pleasure in visiting EMU. At the end of the visit at which Rector’s Coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Arif Akkeleş and Public Relations and Press Office Acting Director Murat Aktuğralı were also present, Prof. Dr. Osam presented Atalan a frame made of traditional Lefkara Lace.
