The institutional collaboration between the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) and the İstanbul Technical University TRNC Education – Research Campus (ITU-TRNC) is strengthening with a new joint certificate program. A protocol signed by the two universities is the first step towards putting the joint certificate program into practice. Within the scope of the protocol signed by EMU Vice Rector for Administrative and Technical Affairs Prof. Dr. Özgür Eren and ITU-TRNC Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Serdar Kum; an agreement was reached regarding a “Project and Production Management Certificate Program” that will be jointly run by the EMU and ITU-TRNC Continuing Education Centers. The program language will be Turkish or English. The envisaged 6 modules will be run by academic staff assigned by ITU-TRNC and EMU. Each university will assign academic staff for 3 modules.
The Courses will be delivered at EMU
Students who successfully complete each module and pass an exam upon completion of all modules will earn a joint EMU and ITU-TRNC Project and Production Management Certificate. Upon the completion of each module students will also receive a certificate of achievement. The courses will be delivered at EMU classrooms however, if required ITU-TRNC classrooms will also be available for use. The joint certificate program protocol will be valid until the 31st of December 2018.
