Eastern Mediterranean University Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Psychology Department and EMU Psychological Guidance and Research Center (EMU-PDRAM) hosted the training titled “Suicide and Risk Assessment” at the Mustafa Afşin Ersoy Hall.
Attendance was high at the training organized with the collaboration of the Turkish Psychologists Association (TPD) and Cyprus Turkish Psychologists Association (KTPD). The training was conducted by Assoc. Dr. Prof. Okan Cem Çırakoğlu for psychologists in Northern Cyprus within the scope of the Vocational Support Program. During the training where colleagues had the opportunity to come together and share their experiences, risks related to suicidal behavior, research on the subject and intervention to suicidal behavior were discussed.
