Eastern Mediterranean University has finalized the preparations for the 2015-2016 Academic Year Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony which will take place at EMU LMP Sports Complex at 14:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 9 February. During the ceremony, over 1200 students will be graduating from their respective programs.
With the graduation of over 1200 students, the number of Eastern Mediterranean University’s alumni will reach 45,000. Graduates from 43 nationalities will start their new lives at different locations of the world following their graduation on 9 February 2016. Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Pulhan stated that each graduate will contribute to the promotion of the university by acting as a honorary representative of the institution during the next phase of their lives.
During the ceremony which will commence with a moment of silence followed by the national anthem, symbolic tree planting ceremony and EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Osam’s opening address, graduates of associate, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degree programs will receive their diplomas and awards. The ceremony will end with throwing of the graduation caps into air.
