Important Remains Were Found in the Excavations Led by EMU

Important Late Bronze Age remains belonging to more than 3200 years ago were found in the excavations carried out at King’s Hill in Kaleburnu collaboratively with Eastern Mediterranean University and University of Tübingen. The excavation team consists of a total of 51 people and is led by Archaeologist Assist. Prof. Dr. Bülent Kızılduman who is a teaching staff at EMU in the Department of Primary School Teaching at Faculty of Education and the Chair of the Eastern Mediterranean University Eastern Mediterranean Cultural Heritage Research Centre (EMU-DAKMAR) and the co-chair of the excavation is Prof. Dr. Martin Bartelhaim from University of Tübingen.
