Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Tourism is getting ready to host the 7th International Turkic World Tourism Symposium to be held on 21-25 May 2025. The symposium will be attended by scholars and representatives of the sector who will thoroughly analyse the economic, social and cultural aspects of tourism.
The Future of Tourism will be discussed
Current issues such as sustainable tourism implementations, integration of cultural heritage to tourism and, digitalization in tourism will be discussed in the symposium. Furthermore, the presentations and discussions among conference attendees are anticipated to significantly enhance scientific research and industry advancements. During the event, researchers from across the globe will have the chance to exchange their varied experiences and findings.
Cultural Collaboration to be strengthened
A key aim of the symposium is to examine how tourism can serve as a unifying force among the Turkish-speaking nations. In this regard, the significance of strengthening regional cooperation in culturally rich areas will be highlighted.
Researchers wishing to participate in the event should submit their abstracts until 21 March, 2025. The submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific board and the accepted abstracts will be posted on the symposium website on 21 April, 2025. Presentations at the symposium can be delivered in Turkish, Turkic dialects, and English.
