EMU-DENT, Faculty of Dentistry Students Club, operating under the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Social and Cultural Activities Directorate organized an event titled “Uzmanından Dinliyoruz” (Listening to the Experts).
Receiving great attention from both EMU students as well as other dentistry students and dentists from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), the event consisted of seminars and workshops. The guest speakers of “Uzmanından Dinliyoruz” event were Specialist Dent. Gökhan Dokumacıgil and Dent. Hayrullah Kaya who delivered seminars on “Dental Photography” and “Isolation in Clinical Practice”, respectively. In the second session of the event organized with the supervision of faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Işıl Özgül Kalyoncu, a practical “Rubber-Dam Applications in Phantom Models” workshop was carried out with 2nd year students at EMU Faculty of Dentistry Phantom Laboratory. The said event significantly contributed to the professional training of the students.
