
Program Information
This program aims to equip graduates with necessary knowledge and skills for careers that involve hospitality management, tourism management, and policy-making. More specifically, the graduates can develop their careers in a range of managerial positions in hospitality and tourism organizations, government units responsible of planning and policy development, and consulting in hospitality industry.
On successful completion of the program students would have developed knowledge and understanding that enable them to
- Manage hospitality businesses effectively and efficiently through utilization of most recent managerial capabilities
- Apply advanced managerial techniques in relevant fields of hospitality.
- Stimulate change in response to current and future developments in organizations in the tourism and hospitality industry
- Evaluate different international experiences of the role of tourism in development, and the critical issues determining the success of the tourism-led economic policies
- Manage hospitality businesses effectively and efficiently through utilization of most recent managerial capabilities

For the completion of the program a total of 66 ECTS is required:

Admissions Requirements
Program accepts applicants from hospitality and tourism bachelors graduate in addition to applicants from different disciplines. Applications can be made twice a year; for fall or spring semesters where the deadlines of applications are announced on the Institute of Graduate Studies web page – for more information please visit https://grad.emu.edu.tr/en/admission/admission-requirements . The program language is English and the candidates are required to submit an English proficiency exam result or attend the English proficiency exam of EMU.
Areas of Research Interests
Program focuses on managerial and operational aspects of hospitality management. It also provides opportunity through several elective courses to expand their areas in tourism, sustainability, human resources, marketing, planning and development.
