Within the scope of the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Communication Faculty, Department of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design “7th International Career Days” world famous designer Ginette Caron came together with students at the university.
Ginette Caron is continuing her work at her own studio named “Ginette Caron Communication Design”. She previously worked as a designer (corporate identity, graphic design, packaging, guide signs etc…) and art director at many big companies such as Benetton and Prada. She has important customers such as Barilla, Bulgari, Fabriano Butique, Ferragamo, Knoll, Moleskine, San Carlo, Swatch, TV5 and Vatikan.
During her presentation titled “Form Comes From Wonder” which had large attendance of Department of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design students and academic staff Ginette Caron relayed useful information about subjects such as design processes and concept development. Caron also answered student questions at the end of the presentation.
Department of Visual Arts and Visual Communication Design Chair Prof. Dr. Senih Çavuşoğlu noted that Ginette Caron who was Canada’s 2017 Cultural Ambassador will be meeting with students again next year as a guest of the department course “Learning from the Masters” which aims to bring together students and some of the world’s best designers.
