In-service training sessions organized by the Eastern Mediterranean University Continuing Education Center (EMU-CEC) for Dikmen Municipality employees within the scope of the European Union Project have been completed. A Certificate Ceremony was held for the participants who successfully completed the aforesaid training. The ceremony took place at EMU Rector’s Office, Senate Meeting Hall. Present at the ceremony were EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın, Mayor of Dikmen Yüksel Çelebi, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Hasan Demirel, EMU-CEC President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Ersoy, EMU-CEC team, instructors and participants who successfully completed the said training.
“We Thank EMU-CEC”
Delivering the opening address of the ceremony, EMU-CEC President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Ersoy stated that EMU-CEC was established in 2004 to provide education services to all stakeholders of the society with an understanding of lifelong education and continues its activities in line with this mission. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersoy also added that their main aim is to provide educational services for everyone from 7 to 70 years old and to carry such services out of the campus and serve the society. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ersoy congratulated the participants who successfully completed the 9 courses that commenced in October 2020 and thanked the EMU-CEC instructors. Mayor of Dikmen Yüksel Çelebi also pointed out the importance of cooperation between the municipality and universities and thanked EMU and EMU-CEC for the in-service training they offered to their institution.

Inst. Eliz Arter, Sen. Inst. Nezire İnce, Assist. Prof. Dr. Ceren Gezer and Assist. Prof. Dr. Tevhide Ziver; Managerial Skills course and Meeting and Time Management Course by Prof. Dr. Cem Tanova and Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tarık Timur; Written Communication Skills course by Dr. Engin Aluç; Citizen Relations Course by Specialist Şevket Serkan Şen; Effective Communication Skills course by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Metin Ersoy.
