Organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Center for Cyprus Studies (EMU – CCC) in collaboration with the European Mediterranean Art Association (EMAA), Heidi Trautmann Exhibition will be opened on 20 September 2017 Wednesday at 19:00. Consisting of Trautmann’s 230 pattern and clip art works of 18 years of experience, the exhibition will be held at İsmet V. Güney Exhibition Hall. The event will be open to public until 30 September 2017 within working hours.
EMU – CCC and EMAA organized another joint event on the 15th of April World Art Day holding a Heidi Trautmann exhibition and the publicity of her 2 volume catalogue to art-lovers in Famagusta.
In her works of art, Trautmann, who has devoted her years to art, providing multiple contributions to the art environment, approaches art as an irreplaceable element of life, visualizing people’s mental states as well as their ways of thinking and lifestyles in momentary daily life by using experimental techniques. The combination of the aspects of identity and culture in her artwork reveals a different dimension of the Cypriot people and their ways of life.
