Eastern Mediterranean University has successfully passed the world renowned IQ Net member Turkish Standards Institute ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and ISO 10002:2014 Student Satisfaction Management System accreditations. TSE Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus representative Ahmet Kemal Kızıltan presented the said certificates to EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam at the Rector’s Office.
During the visit which took place on 24 March 2016, Kızıltan congratulated Eastern Mediterranean University for successfully passing TSE inspections between 22 and 26 February 2016. Putting forth that TSE is recognised within 36 countries due to its IQ Net membership, Kızıltan added that their aim is to increase the quality levels of educational institutions within the TRNC. Kızıltan also expressed their pride in certifying EMU as a prominent institution of higher education.
Expressing his pleasure in receiving quality certificates, Prof. Dr. Osam added that EMU is an institution giving special importance to quality. Prof. Dr. Osam stated that EMU will take further steps in terms of the quality and development.
