Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) hosted the Search and Rescue Club Founding and Honorary President Nasuh Mahruki within the framework of the 5th International Career Week. Mahruki gave a seminar titled “Climb Your Own Everest” at the Health Sciences Faculty Conference Hall.
At the seminar at which attendance was high Mahruki provided information about the book “Climb Your Own Everest” mentioning his sports background and the basic rules for success. Touching upon points that students should be careful about on their career path Mahruki indicated the importance of target setting as well as taking correct and calculated risks. After the seminar EMU Health Sciences Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Mehtap Malkoç thanked Mahruki for his contributions to the 5th International Career Week and presented him a plaque of appreciation.
Mahruki Visited Prof. Dr. Osam
Before the said seminar, Mahruki visited EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Osam in his office expressing his pleasure in participating in the 5th International Career Week and coming together with students. Mahruki provided examples from his own life and the Search and Rescue Club. During the visit Prof. Dr. Osam provided detailed information about the university, student profile and accreditations. At the end of the visit Mahruki presented Prof. Dr. Osam his book “Climb Your Own Everest”. EMU Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Yaşar Özden and Prof. Dr. Cem Tanova, Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Mehtap Malkoç and Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Gülten Sucu Dağ were also present at the said meeting.
