As part of Eastern Mediterranean University, Communication and Media Studies Faculty’s 4th International Career Week activities, Netmarble Turkey Public Relations and Advertising Director Dilek Aydoğdu delivered a seminar titled “Mobile Game Marketing Communication Process”.
The said event commenced with a video screening on “Mobile Games”. In her talk, Aydoğdu stated that mobile games form one of the largest technological markets at a worldwide scale and provided information on the development and existing situation of the said market in Turkey. Stating that the most popular mobile games in Turkey are strategy, puzzle and table games, Aydoğdu put forth that the most popular game in the table games category is “Money Mania”.
Aydoğdu then went on to provide information on the methods of the marketing communications of a game with a specific focus on the integrated strategy employed, viral marketing, television, scenario integration in series, competitions and promotion of the game in shows.
At the end of the seminar, a workshop on “Marketing Communications of Mobile Games” was held with students.
